Welcome to Year 5!

This term Year 5 are learning all about the Anglo - Saxons & Vikings in History and Great Britain in Geography.  In Dance, each class are creating an Anglo-Saxon style dance and in Art we are producing individual 'Viking' pieces of collage; demonstrating a variety of painting techniques.

In PE, we are developing our tennis skills and playing modified games as part of our outdoor lessons.

In English, we have created an individual 'Battle Cry' which will be performed across the year group. In Maths, we continue to improve and polish our timetable recall with TTRockstars. Through SpellingShed we continue to improve our Spellings.

There are many new and exciting learning opportunities for all of the children in Year 5 to embrace and look forward to - we will keep you posted via the school website and Facebook pages.
